Frequently Asked Questions

Our flock of wool sheep in green patures on our farm
  • Unfortunately, no, pets are not allowed. We are a working farm, and have many animals who are rotated throughout all of our pastures, and Livestock Guardian Dogs who take good care of our animals. We can however, arrange a farm tour where you can meet our animals! Thank you for your understanding!

*Certified service animals are allowed if you notify us in advance

  • If this will be your first farm experience, we are THRILLED to host you! Our regenerative farm is buzzing with action, all the time. During the peak of our season, you will be sharing the land with hundreds of chickens, sheep, pigs, and cows.

    Here’s what you should expect:

-Our animals are rotated daily in moveable electric fencing. Do not touch the fence.

-You WILL hear, see and smell animals! Roosters like to make their presence known early!

-We use a tractor and a UTV daily to complete our chores and you may hear and see us working. We keep this activity between the hours of 8am-8pm.

-We’d love to talk to you about Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGDs), if you’re unfamiliar with them! Our two working dogs, Pepper and Luna are sweet and affectionate, but they are not your normal house dogs (but we have 3 of those too!) LGDs are bred to live and work outside, all the time. Do not be concerned about them, we promise their needs are met! Futhermore, please do not approach the guard dogs inside their electric fence.

  • We have clearly identified walking paths which you are welcome to explore during your stay! Please stay on the paths. If you’d like a more in-depth tour, we offer farm tours for $15. We’d be delighted to provide you with more information than you ever wanted to know about regenerative farming.
